As an undergrad geology major, Scotty had a transformative experience at an archaeological dig in northern New Mexico that ignited his passion for archaeology and preserving historical narratives. This passion for storytelling and discovery has driven his career for more than two decades.
Contributing to community-enhancing infrastructure, power, and gas projects, Scotty has worked on rewarding projects—most notably a transportation project involving the relocation of a grave dated from the 1820s. His ability to solve complex puzzles and collaborate with local historical societies has been a highlight of his work. Scotty's dedication to mentoring the next generation of professionals and his unique experience hosting a television show for the Discovery Channel have equipped him with exceptional communication skills, enabling him to explain complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
Never far from the land, Scotty enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring the wilderness with his son and his son’s cub scout troop. His love of the outdoors and his commitment to understanding clients' needs through the lens of anthropology underscore his holistic approach to both his professional and personal endeavors.
