With more than 20 years of experience, Don has worked on a range of projects with a focus in the design and construction of earth fill and rockfill dams, tailing management facilities, and lined impoundments. He has been instrumental at leading multidisciplinary teams for dam designs at commercial and municipal sites in the U.S., Europe, Africa, and Central and South America.
While Don’s assignments are wide-ranging and complex, his goal remains the same—to fulfill the needs of client and community. His recent work as project technical lead and dam design lead on the Chimney Hollow Reservoir Project fulfils his goal in an important way to the infrastructure of northern Colorado where he grew up. The project leverages Don’s expertise for the design and construction of what will be the tallest embankment dam in Colorado in over fifty years.
In his spare time, Don enjoys spending time with his family either out hiking, mountain biking, or skiing in the mountains of Colorado or at home for game night.
