Jennifer understands the importance of meaningful engagement and communication with Indigenous communities. Over the last 13 years, she’s worked with Indigenous communities as a community advocate, a development project lobbyist, and an educator. Her unique experience and perspective help to facilitate dialogue and build relationships with both communities and project proponents.
By being open and receptive to other’s experiences and perceptions, Jennifer believes we not only broaden our knowledge as individuals, but also foster entrepreneurialism and innovation. In her role at Stantec, this translates to building relationships with communities on a broad scale, creating business and employment opportunities for Indigenous people, and supporting the growth and development of individuals.
Jennifer’s expertise lies in the areas of operations, engagement, marketing and business development. Internally, she also serves as chair of our Indigenous Connections Employee Resource Group and sits on the Inclusion and Diversity Council. Jennifer is proud to work for a company that prioritizes inclusion and diversity.
When she’s not working, Jennifer enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, participating in watersports, and enjoying the cottage with family and friends.
