A team lead for our Architecture group in Detroit, MI, Dave’s responsibilities go far off the edge of the drawing board and include overseeing capacity, balancing workload, and managing our technical architectural team. Known for managing large projects effectively and efficiently, he acts as a conduit for collaboration across disciplines, and as a valuable liaison between his team, their clients, and contractors.
Dave sees every project as an opportunity to express the capabilities of his team and to build on the quality of their work. He also finds in each project a chance to explore new techniques, technologies, and materials where they might improve a client’s project by enhancing sustainability, improving resilience, and reducing climate impacts.
Away from work, he’s still an architect and enjoys remodeling his family’s 1920s Metro-Detroit home, one project at a time. And away from home, he and his wife and young daughter enjoy traveling the world to experience different cultures.
