Each day, designers have the opportunity to create inspiring and memorable spaces. For Jessica, that’s included her work in the health sector, completing planning and interior design projects for several health systems. On all projects, Jessica strives to create healing environments that are as beautiful as they are functional.
Most recently, Jessica worked on the University of California, San Francisco Precision Cancer Medicine Building. She was responsible for planning and interior design of both clinical and public spaces, and she led the effort to make virtual reality (VR) a part of the project team’s regular workflow.
With plans and elevations, there’s a lot of back and forth, and it’s difficult to translate two-dimensional drawings into something the client can look at and sign off on easily. VR has made it easier for design teams to show the client exactly what it is they’re agreeing to.
On the weekend, Jessica can be found exploring the city of Philadelphia or in New York visiting family.
