With over 40 years of engineering experience, Tom specializes in the planning, design, and construction of building mechanical and energy management systems. His project experience ranges from design and consultation in the health care, pharmaceutical, educational, and research and development space to corporate office, commercial, retail, industrial, and data processing marketplaces.
As an engineering discipline lead for our Philadelphia office, Tom has overseen growth in the health and higher education sectors. He provides leadership, oversight, and guidance to the engineering team. He has a particular interest in the integration of building engineering with architectural design to achieve holistic building efficiency and performance.
Tom developed and taught a course on the integration of architecture and building system engineering for the architecture and interior design curriculums at Philadelphia University. He also worked with the College of Architecture to achieve accreditation for the new curriculum and continues to promote these principles in our engineering practice.
