With years of extensive experience in water resources engineering, Megan is a specialist in stormwater management, and she currently serves as our technical area lead in the US for surface hydrology and hydraulics (H&H). Megan works throughout the Mid-Atlantic region to apply her technical design experience in non-point source pollutant treatment, urban stormwater management, ecosystem restoration, low impact development (LID) applications, and erosion and sediment control—ultimately helping clients meet regulatory compliance goals.
On several projects she has provided detailed floodplain studies which have included support for conditional letter of map revision (CLOMR) and LOMR documents as well as other H&H studies. Much of her stream restoration design experience has been in support of projects implemented to meet municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) standards and total maximum daily load goals. Megan has also assisted several municipalities in development of Stormwater Local Assistance Fund (SLAF) grant applications as well as the successful implementation of SLAF-funded projects.
Outside of work, you might find Megan teaching mental health first aid for adults or working with high school band students on leadership skills.
