As a civil engineer in training, Angele believes that people come first when planning and designing—creative solutions should merge the priorities of multiple stakeholders while honoring the area’s landscape and culture.
Angele’s current area of focus is supporting British Columbia’s Ministry of Transportation on various civil construction and flood recovery projects in cities and Indigenous communities across the Canadian province. Working with her team in constructing a quality final product for the client and community, she sees that specifications and standards are adhered to. She’s also active in our DPG (Developing Professionals Group) as the current Kelowna chapter lead and North America call lead.
Outside of work Angele likes to explore her beautiful province by spending time outside and hiking with Pepper, her rescue dog. She loves to cook, taking advantage of the fresh Okanagan produce in the summer. An aspiring yogi, she loves to travel and typically chooses her travel destinations based on the cuisine.
