Having worked on both fossil fuel and renewable energy projects, Chad has a deep understanding of how the “energy mix” is evolving towards a sustainable future. As a leader in the renewable energy sector, he has overseen the implementation and siting for over 75 renewable solar energy projects spanning the US.
A Professional Wetland Scientist and Certified Wildlife Biologist, his expertise includes NEPA documentation, wildlife hazard assessments, construction monitoring, and post-construction biological field studies, often employing his knowledge of GIS and GPS technologies.
Chad takes pride in helping build his profession, and he participates in several industry organizations, such as the Southern Gas Association and Solar Energy Industries Association. He is also an active member of the Wildlife Society and the Society of Wetland Scientists. Outside of work, Chad enjoys coaching fast pitch softball with his two daughters, sailing, cycling, hunting, and fishing, and producing wine from his quarter-acre vineyard.
