Sheldon’s passion is improving roadways and reducing congestion so that commuters have a more reliable, sustainable route to travel. He has extensive experience performing investment grade traffic and revenue studies, traffic simulation modeling, and traffic impact studies focusing on vehicle and pedestrian movements.
Having worked on studies across the country—from Southern California to the DC metro area, North Carolina to Chicago, and New York and beyond—Sheldon believes that his work on California’s SR 91 improvement project best exemplifies his expertise. In the study, he analyzed current conditions and deficiencies, forecasted express lane toll rates and revenue, and modeled transportation improvement options.
Over the last few years, Sheldon’s home life has evolved. A parent of two young children, he’s taking fewer hikes and playing less basketball, but he’s spending his time helping his little ones grow and learn about the world.
