As a transportation engineer, Adam is fascinated by how people choose to travel. He has extensive experience performing tolled traffic and revenue studies, traffic operations studies, and traffic planning for major events and venues. There’s one common theme to all his projects: providing enhanced transportation options to better serve communities.
One of Adam’s proudest days was when an Express Lanes tolling project opened that he helped plan. He also led the analysis of post-opening operations, which showed the client that the project provided noticeable benefits for those utilizing the toll road and traveling near it.
Adam has also provided traffic planning for major events and venues. For a Big 10 school, placing a sign to guide football fans to an existing underpass so they wouldn't have to wait at a street crossing was a simple and effective solution. His greatest takeaway from this type of work is that not all solutions need to be expensive and that a bit of creativity goes a long way.
When he isn’t working on traffic and transportation projects, Adam serves on the advisory council for his alma mater’s marching and pep bands, promoting their fiscal stability and student-run nature. He loves cheering them on at football and hockey games.
