Over his 35+ year career, Jim has participated in more than 150 ice projects and 50 aquatics projects from coast to coast. His expertise is in recreational facilities engineering for indoor and outdoor ice arenas, including refrigeration and piping systems. He also specializes in the planning and design of aquatic facilities. One of his most rewarding projects has been one that involved both ice and aquatics—the Water and Ice Park in Elkhart, Indiana. Jim found the challenge of implementing the first skating path in the US invigorating, and was proud to be part of a project that helped spur community renewal.
In his free time, Jim is always looking for his next opportunity to take his ocean-worthy sailboat out to do more Caribbean island hopping.
