Jose Luis designs, specifies, and reviews electrical equipment and systems in buildings. His collaborative approach to leading cross-functional teams encourages the application of innovative solutions to complex problems. Jose has supported projects in numerous industries including transit, science and technology, data centers, government, education, commercial, and healthcare. He’s also worked on power distribution, lighting and controls, emergency systems, fire alarm, and low-tension backbones.
Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, and their respective advanced functions, Jose Luis believes in the value of breadth in design work and providing the right solution for the right job. As part of that philosophy, he welcomes challenges and questions when comparing and contrasting designs and providing the level of detail appropriate to what the job requires. He believes in the value of the engineering design process, taking into account schematic and design development phases, no matter how brief.
Away from his desk, Jose is a husband, and a father to two young people who he spends all his spare time with.
