Dr. Li believes that the primary concern for professional engineers should be to maintain high quality services and interactions with clients and communities.
Throughout his career, Jian has serviced as project lead in planning study, design, and contract administration of various types of municipal, private and industrial infrastructure. He has built a reputation in providing innovative and practical solutions that meet client’s needs.
He’s managed key projects across the Windsor-Essex Area, such as the award-winning Windsor East Retention Treatment Basin and Tunnel Sewer to reduce combined sewer overflows and pollutant loading to the Detroit River for the City of Windsor, Wastewater Collection System Improvements to mitigate the likelihood of basement flooding for the Town of Essex, as well as the ongoing expansion of Denis St. Pierre Water Pollution Control Plant to meet development needs for the Municipality of Lakeshore.
After work Jian enjoys reading, music, nature, travel, and volunteers with local communities.
