Myles is a structural engineer in our Calgary transportation team. He specializes in bridges, including the design and load rating analysis of structural steel, cables, reinforced, pre-tensioned, and post-tensioned concrete. He has extensive experience with suspension, truss, and girder structures.
Whether it is a pedestrian suspension bridge, complex traffic interchange bridge, or load capacity study as he did on the Confederation Bridge connecting Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick, Myles has a passion for finding solutions, working with others, and seeking different perspectives. He also enjoys sharing his knowledge mentoring new engineers. Myles is the bridge design engineer leading the highly technical cast-in-place segmental balanced cantilever construction method for the Bow River Bridge.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his two boys building Minecraft worlds, playing lacrosse, or exploring the great outdoors either camping or at the beach.
