As a child, Lylian loved to draw castles, buildings, and houses. When she was in high school, her father built the family’s home—she liked to see the plans and how, little by little, the house took shape. This formative experience inspired her to become a civil engineer and now, with more than two decades of professional engineering experience, she’s a specialist in project management.
As a quality assurance and control manager in our Lima office, Lylian is motivated by her work on projects that generate a positive impact on the community. Her most rewarding work? Pre-investment studies of the La Tomilla II drinking water treatment plant and the Enlozada wastewater treatment plant, both for the Cerro Verde mining company. These complex projects were not only designed to generate income for the client, but also to contribute to improving the quality of life for people in the city of Arequipa, Peru.
Beyond her ambition to manage increasingly complex projects, Lylian’s greatest passion is traveling. She loves seeing new places and especially enjoys visiting museums to learn about different cultures.
