A registered architect, Kailey is passionate about design and the pursuit of what is possible. She believes that architecture can make a difference in the pursuit of a better world, which has led her to work on a diverse mix of community, cultural, health care adjacent, educational, and recreational projects.
Kailey typically fills the role of design architect on projects, coordinating both internal and external project team members among all disciplines and guiding projects from start-up through completion. In the office, she often coordinates design charettes and input sessions.
In addition to practicing architecture, Kailey has been a sessional instructor and regular guest critic for the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba. She’s also taught design studios in the undergraduate Environmental Design program. Additionally, she’s served as a board member of a design advocacy organization, StorefrontMB, and a bicycling advocacy organization, Bike Winnipeg.
