If you’re having fun with work, you’ll succeed—that’s the approach that David takes in his career as a railway engineer in trackwork and alignment. He has over ten years of experience working on various rail projects, from design-build LRT projects in Vancouver and Calgary to heavy rail projects including Class 1 Railways, industrial, terminals, and mining.
David’s work involves design, route planning, and construction supervision. Recently, he’s been working on the Denver RTD North Metro design-build project. After two years, the track design for the project has been completed and it’s set for construction.
Working with a great variety of rail projects gives David the opportunity to explore different challenges and solve unique problems. Whether he’s working on LRT, freight rail, or something else, he’s satisfied when he can provide the right solutions.
When he’s not at work, David’s free time is occupied almost exclusively by his two toddlers.
