With more than 16 years of professional experience in design, engineering, and managing of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for new and existing facilities, Tae has expanded his skills and knowledge to keep pace with the technological evolution of these systems.
As building systems become more interrelated with the overall design, Tae effectively coordinates with other disciplines and public utilities for optimum design and cost savings. He particularly enjoys coordinating with facility engineers on occupant comfort and conducting special investigations, tests, and other studies, to resolve issues or improve efficiency and reliability of equipment and systems.
With innate curiosity and an enthusiasm for new challenges, Tae led the design of the mechanical and plumbing systems for Haas Innovations Brewery at Yakima. He and his team rose to the occasion—this was their first project of this type—devising energy-efficient solutions to meet the unique piping and temperature control requirements of a brewery.
Outside of work, Tae can be seen finishing up the back nine of his favorite golf course and spending time with his kids.
