Vijesh currently leads the Stantec Institute for Applied Science, Technology and Policy. He and his team focus on delivering innovative, pragmatic, and efficient solutions using research, applied science, and technology to help our clients and communities improve, reuse, and protect resources.
As a practicing engineer in the wastewater discipline, Vijesh promotes access to necessities like clean water, and a healthy environment, for everyone. Looking beyond water as a standalone business offering, he sees opportunities in the industry as a critical catalyst for integrating different technologies to create a more sustainable world. He enjoys getting to work with different clients and teams on wastewater and solid waste projects of varying sizes and complexity. He also enjoys applying his financial management skills and strategies to optimize the profitability of a project.
When he isn’t busy with water and wastewater efforts, Vijesh enjoys busy weekends with his wife and two children, sometimes taking scenic drives in the beautiful Poconos region. He is also an ardent Indian classical music fan and serves on the board of directors of the Kerala Association of New Jersey to promote Indian culture.
