As an engineer in training, Leslie provides a range of engineering design and support for planning and design of public and private projects. She designs and produces plan sets from permit to final design for wetland mitigation, dam removal and stream daylighting projects.
Leslie is avid about protecting the areas where people live, work, and play. She chose to work in civil/environmental engineering because she wanted to contribute to proactively addressing the environmental health and public health issues that lie in front of us. Leslie has provided on-call stormwater management plan reviews for grading and drainage permits within the City of Redmond. She provided GIS services on behalf of the Soos Creek Water and Sewer District; digitizing over 1,900 sewer manholes, 400 fire hydrants across nearly 500 construction record drawings.
Outside of work, you’re likely to find Leslie sea kayaking, enjoying the open waters of the Puget Sound. She also loves to visit parks with her dog and has been known to casually inspect stormwater infrastructure whenever the opportunity arises.
