Logan is an intermediate geotechnical engineer and project manager within our Geotechnical group. His role includes stewarding geotechnical site exploration and design projects from the proposal stage, designing and coordinating field and laboratory testing programs, and preparing engineering deliverables for our clients.
Having worked on projects around the globe, Logan is focused on the design of mine tailings storage facilities, dams, and infrastructure. Since most design projects have a geotechnical component, he enjoys gaining experience on new types of projects and in new sectors. He believes coaching and mentoring are essential in the geotechnical practice. This includes not being afraid to ask questions, being available and approachable to others, and sharing experiences. Logan finds mentoring junior and intermediate staff on the team is also key to development.
Outside of work, Logan enjoys cooking, bike rides, running, and getting outside in the green spaces in and around Calgary.
