Matt is a water professional with experience in the analysis and design of a range of water resources projects. He leads pursuits, technical execution, and financial management for private industry clients and municipal, state, and federal government agencies, and he serves as chief engineer in our Watershed & River Hydraulics discipline.
His passion lies in using his background in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to pursue and manage hydraulic analyses on large, interdisciplinary planning and design projects. When Matt approaches a new project, he promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and planning from day one—fully believing that failing to plan is planning to fail. Among Matt's current projects are the Mid-Breton Sediment Diversion, the Orange County (TX) Coastal Storm Risk Management and Ecosystem Restoration project for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and the Des Moines Levee Alterations project.
After work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and children and finding any excuse to spend time outdoors.
