As a mechanical engineer who wears many hats, among them being a hydrogen-electrolyzer specialist, Brendan is regularly called in as a technical lead for a variety of projects. He uses his expertise, gleaned from his diverse project history, to passionately help solve energy transition and decarbonization challenges with an eye for sustainability, profitability, and social wins.
Lately, it could be helping define a decarbonization pathway to net zero, determining where green hydrogen would best fit into a client's asset portfolio or integrating creative energy recovery systems into existing facilities. Brendan's experience both as an engineering consultant and his years on construction sites provide a valuable holistic view of projects and how to better design with the end goal in mind.
When Brendan is not in the midst of supporting his projects, you’ll find him relaxing with his family, sharing his love of the great outdoors. You can also find him either volunteering with the local Scout group, planting and harvesting from his home vegetable patch, or exploring Canterbury's many local bike trails—some of them Stantec designed!
