James has more than 17 years of geographic information systems (GIS) consulting experience, much of which has been focused on serving utility and local government clients. He has become intimately familiar with the many applications and systems that support his clients in leveraging spatial information to make better decisions.
Working with clients to bring an understanding of how spatial technology can be deployed and used, James creates simple solutions to complex problems. Working with Los Alamos County, he helped author a GIS system of record of the client’s asset inventory in which complex historical financial information could be integrated—allowing the client to identify value and prioritize critical infrastructure. James’ work helps clients develop efficiencies, provide reliable information, and increase quality.
With a passion for helping people realize their talents, James spends his time outside of work with his wife, loving and coaching his two daughters, serving in his local church, or helping to create opportunities in his community.
