Becky, vice president and regional water sector lead, is focused on sustainable water solutions for communities throughout the Southeast. Her more than 20-year career began with water quality sampling and running a water treatment pilot plant. These days, she provides leadership and project management for water and wastewater infrastructure and water supply and management.
Clients appreciate Becky’s personal approach, and she’s widely recognized for her project leadership and stakeholder engagement. Her experience with large-scale design programs and multiple treatment plants allows her to lead projects that use a variety of delivery methods including program management, design-bid-build, and design-build. Recently she was heavily involved with the 47 MGD West Palm Beach Water Treatment Plant upgrades project and the South Florida Water Management District’s Phase 1A 4,500-acre expansion of Stormwater Treatment Area 1W.
To Becky, water is not just a professional passion, it’s a personal one—she enjoys a sense of calm whenever she’s near the ocean and loves playing on the water. She’s also a member of Stantec’s US Diversity and Inclusion Council and the Women’s Leadership Development sub-committee. She has a passion for promoting women in the engineering profession and is driven to mentor female engineers and educate students in STEM-related fields.
