Gizem is a senior atmospheric engineer and the senior team lead for our Ontario Climate Risk, Resilience and Sustainability team. She’s provided support in all areas of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and sustainability for almost two decades. Her work is primarily in GHG and climate change related projects including GHG verification, inventories, and sustainability planning. Over the years, she’s worked closely with municipal and government clients as well as industrial clients in all sectors.
Lending her expertise to the communities where she lives and works, Gizem leads the development of community and corporate GHG management plans for clients and multi-stakeholder groups across Canada. She also conducts sustainability research and reviews and has worked on peer reviews to inform sustainable improvements—on both a small scale with individual facilities and on a large scale with Canada’s National Inventory Report.
When she’s not supporting clients’ sustainability goals, Gizem spends her time as a hockey mom in ice rinks across Ontario, cheering on her kids!
