eing raised in an Air Force family and growing up on many airfields—combined with a love for problem solving while working as a youth on his 1970 Chevy pickup—led Evan to a career developing innovative airport engineering solutions. He has focused nearly three decades of his career on aviation-related work.
Evan’s experience spans a variety of airport sizes and geographies. He has provided design services at more than 25 of Alaska’s airports and has prepared over 30 airport layout plans. Most recently, he spent two years in Florida leading the design of airport fuel farms, apron expansions, hangar developments, and an air traffic control tower. With a thorough grasp of Federal Aviation Administration and Alaska standards, Evan understands the requirements for airport project delivery from planning through construction.
When he isn’t engineering airport solutions, Evan can be found wherever there’s snow: snowmachining, and cross country or downhill skiing. He also enjoys motorcycling, fishing, camping, and scuba diving.
