Corey is an expert in strategic environmental permit acquisition. With nearly 20 years of experience in environmental policy and management, Corey knows how to support clients through the environmental regulatory process.
Corey’s range of expertise includes data assessment for regulatory reporting, permit document preparation, and Section 404(b)(1) of the Clean Water Act. In addition to facilitating the environmental regulatory process, he coordinates specific project needs with the federal, state, and local agencies involved in the permitting process. Corey’s major projects include obtaining permits for the Northwest Beaches International Airport, Panama City, Florida, and the Surry-Skiffes Creek-Whealton 500/230 kV Transmission Line, Hampton Roads, Virginia (new overhead transmission line crossing of the James River).
Corey balances his love for regulatory compliance with running very long distances. When not working or with his family, he enjoys running 50-kilometre and 50-mile races in the mountains of Virginia.
