Dan has been helping communities build their infrastructure for over 20 years. Whether it’s a water line sewer, a road, or a flood protection system, Dan works with one goal in mind—improving communities. These projects are often taken for granted in the day to day, but they protect our lives, facilitate growth, and protect our property.
Recently, Dan has been reducing the risk of flooding in New Orleans. The Permanent Canal Closures and Pumps project has called on over 450 Stantec employees from 74 BCs to manage all of the different moving pieces. “It’s been extremely rewarding to work on a project that means so much to an entire city,” says Dan.
Dan believes in patience, in keeping long-term goals in mind. “Building a base of knowledge improves overall understanding and helps you become successful.” As a fan of brass bands and funk, Dan is pretty at home in New Orleans. He and his family spend their free time seeing live music, going to festivals, and checking out restaurants.
