Eddy specializes in environmental noise planning. Employing a holistic approach, he believes that soundscape and acoustic design form critical components in functional, happy communities and placemaking. He supports clients with acoustic design to help achieve client aspirations, planning permission, and required permits. This includes residential, entertainment, mining and minerals, manufacturing, waste, utilities, and energy projects.
Communicating well with clients is key, and Eddy’s passionate about nurturing cultural value through good acoustic design and planning—especially when it comes to projects in the entertainment industry, music venues, community facilities, and mixed-use developments. Notable projects for Eddy range from the extraction and processing of ore from the Tulkubash Gold Mine in Kyrgyzstan, to the redevelopment of Dudley City Centre, and providing acoustic support during the expansion of the headquarters of Wren Kitchens over a four-year period.
When he isn’t providing acoustic engineering, Eddy produces music, having released on independent record labels across Europe. He also enjoys attending live music shows, hiking, reading, computer games, and watching films.
