With more than three decades of hydrologic and hydraulic design experience for stream and wetland restoration projects, Grant is a natural fit to serve as senior river engineer for projects in North Carolina and beyond. His passion for the environment is evident in the more than 200,000 feet of stream projects and 1,900+ acres of wetlands he has designed.
Grant has solved many challenging design projects like the Ochlawaha Bog Restoration and Tulula Bog and Stream Restoration- both in North Carolina. Every project has a profound impact on the way he interprets the natural process and each project helps him further refine his design and restoration techniques. To Grant, the most rewarding part of a project comes years later, when you to return to a site and see the natural recovery taking hold.
Once a visitor and now a resident, Grant enjoys all Asheville offers—especially the mountains- and often takes time to absorb all the beautiful scenery his community offers.
