With nearly 20 years of experience in civil engineering, James provides leadership of all phases of major municipal infrastructure and site development schemes. He’s been involved with everything from condition assessments through detailed design, tendering, and construction administration. He has particular technical expertise in the detailed design and analysis of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.
James takes great pride in having played key roles in several projects that have benefitted communities he’s lived and worked in, as well as their surrounding environments. These have included the Pinecrest Creek stormwater management pond and other components of Ottawa’s Stage 2 Light Rail Transit program, Ādisōke (Ottawa’s new central library), and the 400-kilometre (250-mile) Disi-Mudawarra to Amman Water Conveyance project in Jordan.
When he isn’t managing projects or designing municipal infrastructure, James can be found cycling or hiking around Ottawa and the Gatineau hills.
