What began as a childhood love for the outdoors grew into a lifelong passion for Adam. With nearly 40 years of experience as a civil and environmental engineer, he strives to preserve the natural environment on every project. Collaborating with other engineers, planners, and other invested parties, he works on multi-modal transportation plans and initiatives that help improve the way people get around.
Adam has helped develop numerous streetscape projects and bicycle and pedestrian plans. Notably, he led the conversion of Greensboro’s fleet of diesel buses to battery electric, the first battery electric buses in operation in North Carolina. Drawing on his broad experience, he’s currently working on pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure that will create a much-anticipated link between two North Carolina communities.
When he’s not creating transportation improvement strategies, Adam unwinds on the golf course, enjoying the physical and mental challenges of the game.
