Mario is the executive vice president for Stantec’s Energy & Resources business, serving clients around the world. He is committed to clear open and honest communication, understanding how important it is that he be a trusted advisor to his clients and his team.
Mario has supported our staff in winning and delivering some of the largest and most iconic engineering projects in the world. He’s worked on everything from the prestigious Panama Canal Third Set of Locks Expansion Project, to the mammoth 188-meter-high Tekeze Dam in Ethiopia –the tallest dam in Africa at its completion. He has a passion for and specializes in helping clients with dam safety.
Outside of work, Mario is a car fanatic. He loves going to car shows and seeing cars from the 50’s to the 80’s that are in original condition, and recently bought a 1970s Buick to tinker with. Mario loves visiting Colorado breweries with his wife and new labradoodle puppy (some allow dogs), and sees his two grown sons whenever he gets the chance.
