Andy has always been a builder and problem solver. From the sandbox to the local creek, he saw early on how one person can impact our environment, and he gained an appreciation for the immediacy of how what we build can keep things moving or slow things down.
For more than a dozen years, Andy has worked on traffic engineering and transportation planning projects in both the public and consulting sectors. His passion for traffic operations has been nurtured by projects across a wide spectrum including temporary traffic control, signing and marking, traffic signal timing and coordination, and highway safety. Due to his involvement with planning and technical design review, he has developed a sound knowledge of state and local design requirements.
When he isn’t working on traffic engineering and transportation planning projects, Andy enjoys kayaking, swimming, hiking, and exploring the natural wonders of South Carolina with his family and friends.
