A geographic information systems (GIS) analyst, Elizabeth Duong is passionate about geomatics. A graduate in GIS, environmental geography, and environmental assessment, she has over 15 years of experience in geomarketing and the environmental sector. She derives great satisfaction from seeing the positive impact of geomatics on projects, whether to improve processes, facilitate field work, or provide visuals that are easy for diverse project stakeholders to interpret.
While her approach thrives on database manipulation, Elizabeth gets to showcase her artistic side when she produces maps to creatively represent the results. She collaborates on the design of various maps including those for environmental impact and ecological studies. Among other projects, she is supporting the City of Terrebonne in the complete overhaul of its geographic portal (GeoHub).
To relax, Elizabeth regularly hosts lively meals for her nearest and dearest friends.
