As the mine closure technical practice lead, Phillip draws upon his 35 years in the sector to manage and direct multidisciplinary teams for mine closure and reclamation projects. He has experience with integrated mine closure planning, implementation, post-closure land use, monitoring, and maintenance for a variety of mine and processing facilities.
Phillip frequently serves as a panelist and presenter on mine closure. He adheres to a philosophy of safety through prevention in designs, design with closure in mind, hard work, integrity, honesty, and environmental stewardship. Additionally, Phillip has led mine closure projects across Africa, Australia, Europe, Indonesia, and the Americas.
