Steve’s not afraid to get his hands dirty. As a landscape architect, contractor, and irrigation specialist, it’s just part of the job. Projects are more than just a piece of land to him—they are a canvas. Whether parks, streetscapes, parking lots, or residential/commercial developments, Steve designs sustainable and aesthetically beautiful landscapes. With water conservation a key aspect of his work, he regularly incorporates indigenous plant selections carefully laid out for optimum results.
Steve’s 25+ years of hands-on experience has given him a deep breadth of irrigation design intelligence, as well as valuable field activity insight. A Registered Landscape Architect and Certified Landscape Water Auditor, he’s designed some of Southern California’s most current, environmentally-friendly, and efficient irrigation delivery systems. They are installed at Mouton Meadows and Lang Parks in Laguna Beach, Class I bikeways throughout Orange County’s regional parks, and several natural treatment basins in Irvine, California.
An EPA Watersense Partner, Steve stays abreast of regional and local policies—allowing him to foresee technological and societal trends, and how to best incorporate relevant new irrigation elements or design techniques into current project designs accordingly.
Starting out as a hobby, Steve’s job continues to be his passion. His home garden offers sanctuary for the local wildlife. California native plants like sage and grasses offer food for both the land and air based neighbors; he loves them frequenting his yard.
