As the practice leader for our Buildings Engineering group in Southwest Ontario, David brings his passion for design excellence and integrated design to his work. He champions its expression in the teams he leads and delivers exceptional holistic solutions.
David became recognized as an award-winning mechanical and electrical engineer in the United Kingdom prior to joining Stantec. His recent project successes include Brockville General Hospital’s phase 2 redevelopment and Headwaters Health Care Centre. In addition to his project work, David has published in magazines, presented at national and international engineering and architecture conferences, and is active in standards development both at Stantec and in the engineering community. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and a Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) fellow.
In his spare time, David volunteers as an Engineer in Training mentor for as part of the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) Licensure Assistance Program.
