Gordon has nearly 20 years of experience in open pit mine design, operational support, and project management. With expertise that covers metallurgical coal and metal projects, he specializes in mid- to long-range mine planning, project optimization, and technical studies.
Drawing on this expertise, Gordon has provided operational support for a metallurgical coal operation in northeastern British Columbia and a precious metal operation in California. His work also includes multiple preliminary economic assessment to feasibility study level technical reports. These support clients with long-range mine planning, reserve estimate and sign-off, pit optimization, and permitting.
When he isn’t delivering engineering support on complex mining projects, Gordon enjoys landscaping and gardening, as well as various sporting activities. Whether it’s golfing, hiking, playing basketball, or spending time with family and friends, he brings the same level of dedication and enthusiasm to his personal life as he does to his professional endeavors.
