As an award-winning hydraulic modeler, Krishna’s technical acumen in hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling has shaped the planning of wastewater and stormwater collection systems across North America. With a passion for engineering and mentoring, you can often find him working with junior engineers and students, including at the student design competition he started with the Ohio Water Environment Association. His goal? Building connections and collaborations across the water community.
Krishna has broad sewer modeling experience including developing high-resolution H&H models for systems under consent decree, combined sewer overflow (CSO) abatement, sanitary sewer overflow (SSO) mitigation, rainfall derived inflow/infiltration (RDII) quantification, and collection system operation/optimization using active and passive hydraulic controls. Krishna’s drive stems from seeing communities flourish from his work—one of his favorite projects was modeling a storage tank and pump station to significantly reduce the annual number of overflows to Cleveland’s Cuyahoga River.
When Krishna isn’t busy designing solutions or mentoring future engineers, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
