Geno has strong mapping and programming skills which he uses to analyze large data sets and streamline Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis and cartographic production. His graphic design skills are frequently used to produce maps and posters for project-specific presentations, conferences, and proposals. Combining all these skills, he provides project support for compiling and managing ecological data, creating and analyzing GIS data, and producing project-specific maps and figures.
With project experience that includes managing large, natural resource GIS databases and creating map products for multiple wind permitting projects, Geno also creates 3D visualizations of airport runway obstructions, prepares mobile mapping applications for field data collection, and navigates and manages an internal ArcGIS server and web maps of project-specific natural resource data.
In his spare time, Geno enjoys hiking, biking, fly fishing, and skiing in Carrabassett Valley, Maine.
