A civil engineer, Spencer has been supporting the asset management and master planning efforts for several communities throughout Southeast Michigan for both water and wastewater. He’s passionate about creating safe, resilient water infrastructure and helping municipalities deliver clean drinking water to their constituents.
Spencer excels at system characterization, hydraulic modeling, criticality and life-cycle analysis, and providing Geographical Information Systems (GIS) support, as well as technical writing. He’s contributed to design efforts on several linear infrastructure projects, including layout, estimating, permitting, and administration during construction activities. Spencer also supports our clients with implementation of capital improvement projects, often resulting from asset management programs, with his experience petitioning for and securing grant funding and low-interest loans. His most recent successful asset management programs have been for Ann Arbor Township, Pittsfield Township, and the City of Burton in Michigan.
When he’s not at the office, Spencer loves spending time with his family, cooking, and listening to music. He also loves getting outdoors to camp, fish, and golf.
