As a senior project manager, Harris has extensive experience envisioning, preparing, and administering brownfield assessments, including cleanup, planning, and research grants. He excels at collaborating with local, state, and federal agencies, including state departments of natural resources and environmental quality, tribal environmental and natural resource departments, municipal planning and economic development departments, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), and university research faculty.
Harris has prepared applications and managed over $8 million in brownfield grant-funded projects for local units of government, research institutions, private developers, and local community-based non-profit organizations. As a direct result of these grants, grantees have successfully leveraged over $100 million in additional funds.
