As a board-certified toxicologist, Amanda has over 15 years of consulting experience and seven years of laboratory experience in the field of molecular toxicology. Her principal areas of training include toxicology, occupational and environmental exposure assessment, and human health risk assessment. In her work, she uses the human health risk assessment paradigm to help solve complex, real-world problems.
As part of her consulting practice, she conducts quantitative exposure and dose assessments. Her work involves assessing risk to communities, consumers, and workers from chemicals such as benzene, asbestos, pesticides, and metals. She has significant experience conducting on-site exposure assessments at various industrial and advanced manufacturing facilities. She also serves as an expert witness in toxic tort litigation.
In her spare time, Amanda enjoys visiting national parks, hiking, gardening and taking her dog to the park. In the winter, she enjoys skiing in Vermont with her friends from college.
