Travis has over 20 years of design and management experience in both municipal and transportation/transit engineering and planning. In 15 years, he’s also gained supervisory experience managing feasibility studies, environmental assessments, municipal design, and large design-build/detailed design projects. Travis has managed numerous multidisciplinary transit, road, and highway projects both in the public and private sectors, involving preliminary and detail design and traffic management.
Heavily involved in professional organizations, Travis is a member of both the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and the Transportation Safety Council. He’s also a member of the Transportation Association of Canada’s Urban Transportation Council, which provides a forum for discussion of transportation needs and issues in Canadian urban areas.
Travis participates in many local events around his home in Newmarket with his two children Meaghan and Ben. As an alumni of Seneca College, Travis plans to continue a working relationship with Seneca to help bridge the gap between college life and work life for students as they embark on tough and challenging career decisions.
