With an extensive background in multimodal transportation planning, Craig specializes in transit planning and system management. When he was the transit agency director for Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT), he led the doubling of service following the Great Recession and navigated continuity of service during the COVID pandemic. He also helped grow the operating budget reserve from nothing to $10 million and establish cost-sharing partnerships with colleges and hospitals to expand transit access.
Craig has led the development of multimodal transportation and transit plans through rigorous technical analyses and robust public engagement. He also has experience introducing technological advancements to improve transit service such as mobile ticketing, the transition to zero emission buses, and deployment of deviated fixed route service to expand the service area.
Today, Craig is a senior transit advisory consultant based in our Colorado Springs office. He’s a key member of the team conducting a comprehensive operations analysis for the Honolulu transit system. which includes the integration of the bus network with the new Skyline passenger rail service.
