From her childhood growing up on the Gulf Coast, camping and spending time with her family at beaches, to exploring local trails and state and national parks, nature and the environment have played a key role in Madison’s life. When it came time to choose a career, it only made sense to choose one that kept her in close contact with the natural world.
Today, Madison is an environmental professional and biologist with experience in environmental surveys, monitoring, and restoration. She finds the most rewarding projects to be those that involve protecting wetlands and their reservoirs of biodiversity. She works to gather the most accurate information regarding wetland and stream resources in affected project areas to help clients and governments make the best-informed decisions regarding these resources.
When she isn’t out surveying wetlands and other natural resources, Madison can still be found in the outdoors, camping, hiking, kayaking, hanging at the beach, or attending concerts. Along with her partner and friends, she’ll travel around the region and even across the country to see the bands and artists they love.
