Noldy Belizaire

Planner

Photo of Noldy

In fourth grade, Noldy was tasked with an art project named “Cityscapes” where he had to reimagine his favorite hometown buildings into a new place. He was intrigued by the brainstorming sessions, thoughtfully deciding where to locate each building. Over the years, Noldy’s interest evolved, and in high school, he decided to join STEM clubs. Today, Noldy’s “Cityscape” artwork still hangs in his childhood bedroom, and he’s amazed to see what he’s doing now.

Noldy is motivated by the pressing reality of the need for resilience. In the planning process, this means considering disadvantaged communities and neighborhoods that are vulnerable and at risk due to the climate crisis. He strives to creatively engage the next generation or populations who will be key tenants of any plan of action that his team proposes. Noldy is committed to contributing to plans that do not sit on shelves, but instead work now and can evolve over time.

On weekends, Noldy enjoys running, making music, and trying new food spots in the city. His hobbies help fuel his creative side and are great opportunities to stay connected with family and friends.
